Dorrigo madness

Recently my tune “Dorrigo”, written for the beautiful Dorrigo Folk & Bluegrass Festival in northern NSW, Australia, has become a bit of a viral hit on instagram and facebook with a bunch of great pickers learning the tune and posting a version of themselves playing it under the hashtag #dorrigochallenge. This has been totally unbelievable for me! I’m including a downloadable PDF of the bare-bones melody below if anyone wants to learn it. Remember with fiddle music, the dots only tell half the tale, I’d refer you to listen for the recording for information and ideas on bowing and variation. Happy fiddling!
